In terms of accessibility, the graduate students at UW-Madison look to beat a few major conferences this year with live streaming of their Plant Sciences Symposium. This year the theme is Emerging Trends and Paradigm Shifts in Plant Breeding and if you’re not around Madison September 28, then you can register to access the web stream at their web site.
The speakers are a mix of local and external experts. You can check the schedule to know when to tune in to your favourites. Local time in Madison will be CDT which is GMT-5 hours. That means the opening remarks will be at 14:30 London time. Your local time zone may vary.
